Yes. Every product Acme Metal Products manufactures is made at our facility in Statesville, North Carolina. We have proudly manufactured American-made metal furniture hardware since 1946.
All Acme Metal Products carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer a 90-day return policy for defective items from the date of order placement.
Orders ship within 24 hours of receipt. Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST ship the same day. Free shipping is available to customers in the Eastern United States.
Yes. All bed rails are shipped in pairs — you will always receive two rails per order.
Mirror supports are available in 60-inch and 48-inch sizes. The 60-inch is the most popular — it provides extra strength at approximately the same price. Both sizes fit a wide range of dressers and mirror combinations.
Acme wooden bed rails use a standard 1/2-inch bed lock hook system, which fits the vast majority of headboards and footboards. They do not fit boards designed for bolt-on rails. No tools are required — the hook is built into the rail. Call us at 704-873-3731 if you’re unsure.
Our rails use a heavy plywood core with a quality veneer finish. We intentionally avoid solid lumber because it warps over time. Finishes are available in dark, light, medium, and unfinished options.
Yes. Acme’s Metal Fabricating Division provides one-stop custom sheet and tubular metal manufacturing, including CNC vertical milling, turret press processing, tube bending, finishing, and packaging. We handle design, prototyping, and full production runs.
We primarily serve the hospitality industry (hotels, motels, resorts, camps), furniture manufacturers, retail stores, and direct consumers needing replacement furniture hardware. Our custom fabrication division serves businesses across many industries.
Defective items are replaced within 90 days of order. For correctly shipped, non-defective items, customers pay return shipping and a 25% restocking fee. Color selection for wooden bed rails is final — please review finish options carefully before ordering.
A slat bearer is the lip or ledge on a bed rail frame that holds slats. On modern beds, the mattress rests on the slat bearer while center supports connect to the bed rail for added stability — eliminating the need for individual metal or wooden slats.
